A Transformative Professional Development Workshop for Educators: Mindfulness Tools To Find Calm For Teachers and Their Students

Thursday, June 18

9am - 3pm

The Philadelphia School

2501 Lombard Street

Philadelphia, PA

The most powerful way to improve student outcomes is to support teachers first

Teaching remains meaningful work, but today’s classrooms demand new tools as students bring greater emotional needs and teachers face rising stress and complexity. This system-wide reality affects focus, behavior, and learning—so when we support teachers, we unlock student success

A New Approach to an Old Problem

Teach. Breathe. Repeat. is a mindfulness-based professional development workshop designed for teachers of preschool-8th grade. Rather than adding one more thing to teachers’ plates, this experience offers a practical shift in how educators move through their day—helping them stay calm, focused, and responsive in real time.

Because when teachers feel grounded and supported, everything changes:

  • Classroom climate improves

  • Student engagement increases

  • Behavioral challenges decrease

What Educators Gain

What you’ll learn:

  • Science-backed tools to reduce stress

  • Simple mindfulness practices to increase teacher calm and classroom focus

  • Attention training strategies to help students stay engaged (even in high-distraction environments)

  • Practical techniques for emotional regulation and classroom behavior

  • Ready-to-use exercises you can implement the very next day

Participants learn simple, research-based tools they can use immediately—right in the middle of teaching:

✔ Reduce stress in real time
✔ Improve focus and clarity
✔ Respond more effectively to challenges
✔ Support student self-regulation

Educators who have implemented these practices report:

  • Reduced stress

  • Improved classroom management

  • Greater student focus and engagement

  • Stronger relationships and emotional regulation

“The tools are quick and easy to use, and they have dramatically lowered my stress levels while helping my students regulate their emotions.”

Each session is grounded in the science of stress, attention, and emotional regulation, while remaining highly practical and accessible.
